Fluid Management with Metal Bellows

metal bellows are absolutely necessary for fluid management in numerous applications. Metal bellows are used for reservoirs, surge arrestors, and accumulators. The metal construction of the bellows allows for construction that is hermetically sealed, and those seals are, of course, tested for leaks. Metal bellows are also mostly maintenance free and have a long shelf life. Metal bellows work well with different types of fluids, including hydraulic fluids and coolants. Even corrosive liquids work well in metal bellows. One might expect metal bellows to be heavier, but they are designed with weight in mind as well, so they work with applications where weight is an issue without a problem.
