Deck Stain And How It Costs

For now, I think our house is pretty nice looking but I think I want to have a deck built in back and on the side. I also would like to have them both stained but I heard that deck stain can be very expensive. I would like it if you could please give me more information on that and the cost of deck stain. I would have someone do it for me if it did not cost too much. The decks that we would get would not be too big and I would say they would be medium size. If you can help please do.
