Can Onlive Achieve high Enough Speeds?

For those not familiar with Onlive, it is an online video game console, put simply. Instead of needing an actual console, or video game system like the Xbox or Playstation, the console is located on servers at the Onlive datacenter. Company executives say that with their new technology which has been being developed for seven years, normal broadband connections will be able to have smooth gameplay on Playstation 3 quality games via the internet. Skeptics are around every corner, and until the system actually launches in the winter of 2009, people will continue to be skeptical. If in fact they can pull off the data transfer they claim, Onlive could easily jump to the head of the video game wars.
